Conflict resolved!

Ok, so I was conflicted on whether  I was going to buy a giant male for Gwen or get a girl for Parlo, or sell Gwen all together.  Welp, I ended up finding a Giant male for Gwen (Giant halfmoon plakat), still havent gotten him in yet, he should be 3 inches long; AND I bought 6 betta (dont know what sex each is) from a red marble spawn, that is about 8 months old.  There hopefully will be a girl for Parlo I like in that group, maybe a red and white marble!  I HOPE!  The guy keeps his fry (even at 8 months old) together in one tank! Sounds kinda cruel to me, because they will obviously fight to the death, but atleast when they get here I will give them a good home.  I will have to seperate them all to get them less stressed, and condition them for spawning.  Dont know what I will do if any of them are not breeder material, I may give them to my mother for her fish tank.  I simply hate cambodians, and there is a very good chance I am going to get some from this purchase.  VERY excited about the Giant male, because he is a Red dragon just like Gwen, and she is getting more and more ready for spawning! I have her eating wax worms every two days (they are fatty) and she seems to love it!
Leo - my sickly betta, Gwen had torn his fins, she simply wasnt ready to mate, plus she is 1/3 bigger then him, and he is a wimp.  He seems a little more active now, but I doubt I will breed him.  The guy I purchased him from has all mediocre fish, and I really dont want mediocre fry, But Gwen should make handsome giant fish, and Parlos babies should be magnificent.

We may spawn today :) !!

Parlo and gwen might spawn! Def. Looks like they are interested, and parlo is busily building a nest for gwen. Fingers crossed that they will embrace soon and parlo can squeeze around her giant body!!

SOOO frustrated!!!!

Ok, so now my female is SUPER READY!  BUT I found out that she is a GIANT!  GRRR The white male I have is still 1/3 too small, and I really wanted to breed her!  A male Giant is sooo expensive, and typically you have to ship them from Thailand.  I love Gwen but she is just sooo big, I may splurge and get her a male, OR I may sell her, and get 2 true halfmoon females for my two males. I havent decided yet.

New male to replace Leo in the March spawning

Ok, So I put Gwen in the tank with Leo, and she tore his fins up and traumatized him!!  She is just too dominant for him, well actually he is just too submissive! I got a new male for Gwen, havent named him yet, but I am excited about this pairing!  He is superb, and she is stunning, so it should be wonderful, I will post pics and videos if I get this two to spawn.  Here is the new male, he has some fin damage, but nothing a little almond leaf cant cure.

Leonidas (daddy - first picture) x Gwen (mommy - 2nd picture) are due to spawn next week, and should have baby Bettas ready for their new homes on or around the beginning of May!

I will post links to pictures and videos of babies once they mature.

Halfmoon Bettas arent your average Betta, they have more elaborate fins, and you will not find them in stores!

Leonidas "Leo" is from a united states breeder in Arizona, and Gwen comes from high quality champion parents from Thailand! Gwen's brothers from the same spawning are already champions!

Gwen is a Red and Silver Dragon halfmoon and

Leo is a Red and gold Dragon half moon.
Dragon coloring and markings is flashy, making their coloring much more striking!

We expect Red, silver, gold, white, and black dragon halfmoons, as well as some blues and greens from this spawning!

Please note: These Bettas are kept in a loving home, and fed live food and betta food, and kept in heated tanks and are very well taken care of, unlike the pet store or walmart bettas, which are less striking, less happy, less healthy, and kept in tiny cups until sold.

Also Note: Walmart and Petstore Bettas are anywhere from 7 months to a year old already, so they are fully matured Bettas and are larger then the younger bettas that I sell. So please know that your Betta will arrive at your home beautiful, and will grow even bigger and more beautiful at your home! You will get to watch him or her grow! Bettas are a hardy fish, and easy to take care of, but you cannot house a Male and female together, he would end up fighting her until her death.Plus, you cannot put a male and male together because they are territorial and will fight as well. You CAN put females together, especially if they are from the same spawning (sisters).

If interested in pet quality, or show quality, or breeder quality, the price will be anywhere from $4-$30 depending on the fish and the fishes sex.
Pet quality $4-$15
Breeding quality and show quality from $15-$30

If you live in Indiana or nearby you may want to come pick out your betta(s). Feel free to contact me for date and time, and address. Also, we will have a BETTA DAY announced once the fish are mature enough, for anyone wanting to cometo pick out and pick up your fish.
I CAN ship the fish to you! USPS mail priority is $15 and I can ship up to 4 fish in the same container. Live guarantee, refund the price of fish only if they arrive dead. shipping is not refunded. I can ship faster, just request it and I can tell you how much it would be.

If you would like to get on the waiting list please let me know, and if you have an idea of what color or sex you want, I can keep a look out during the spawning process for that particular color, quality, and sex.
